Everyone was so kind, everyone was so helpful. I honestly do not know how anything could have been better. My husband was treated with dignity and respect, as was our family.

Toni was wonderful and made The service great and it went smoothly, no complaints on that. However their Sales woman - Joni needs to work on her bedside manner. We were there to pre plan the service and She made rude comments about my mother in law who was on hospice that she would maybe get better and move back. If we thought my mother in law was getting better we wouldn’t be pre planning a funeral! She was also really pushy on purchasing the urn niche when I told her multiple times that we were bringing her ashes to our house. Once or twice is fine but it was too many times to ask. She also completely ignored the messages I sent to her and go straight into marketing nonsense. Joni also criticized me saying I sounded tired on the phone when, she knew my mother in law had just died 2 hours prior to calling her. She also Nicknamed me like we were close enough to do that. I understand that this is a job to her, but this job involves grieving families and their passed loved ones- it’s not all about a paycheck.

Dealing with the loss of a loved one is difficult, but the professional staff at The Garden of Memories understands this and help to make it easier. Everyone, from the receptionist to the funeral directors are not only pleasant but professional also. I was thankful to have worked with Jordan and Joni, they both ensured that my mothers’ services were not only professional but also classy for my family and friends that attended. We were impressed enough that my wife and I will consider the Garden of Memories when our time comes. Thanks to everyone who helped us during a difficult time.

The staff at Garden of Memories, from planning through the service, were kind and compassionate. Catherine Alesich helped us plan the service. All the staff I was in contact with were also very professional. Everything went smoothly. They were very helpful the day of the service. Since then they have checked in with me and offered any needed grief services. I would highly recommend Garden of Memories.

I uaually don't write reviews, however, I felt this one was necessary. Providing service excellance is a responsability that The Garden of Memories should be extremely proud of. From the initial phone call, the staff's professionalism was proven by their patience, genuine concern, and above all else, a flawless service. Every person I interacted with at The Garden of Memories was nothing short of phenominal. MRS. CARRIE BRUNO is an outstanding reflection of The Garden of Memories. Carrie is in the perfect industry because she knows how to speak to people during such a difficult time. She stood with us in our time of grief and confussion & showed my family comfort and compassion. The memorial video was choreographed as if Carrie had known my brother her entire life. The darkest experience of my life turned into a cherished memory & send off for my beloved brother. I would highly recommend their services, and from the bottom of my heart...I am forever thankful for Carrie.

Garden of Memories Funeral Home in Metairie made an incredibly difficult time as simple and peaceful as it could possibly be. We live on the Northshore, and they had someone out to pick up my dad very quickly. The transportation staff were prompt, compassionate, and respectful, and they handled him with such care that it immediately reassured our family. Toni and Patrick met with us the very next day and walked us through every step of the process with patience, kindness, and professionalism. They took care of all the details, including arranging my dad’s veteran flag and having an honor guard present, which meant so much to us and honored his service beautifully. I had forgotten to send over my dad’s favorite music for the visitation, and I handed them a handwritten scrap of paper with song titles. Within 15 minutes, they had all of his favorite music playing. That small act of going above and beyond truly touched our hearts. The facility and grounds were beautiful, clean, and very well kept. Every staff member we encountered was attentive, supportive, and helpful. Even the small things—like the mints that melt in your mouth—brought a bit of comfort in a hard moment. I am deep

I cannot thank you enough for helping me navigate through this difficult time. Everyone at Garden of Memories made this emotional time easier. Jordan you were so kind and compassionate throughout the entire day of my mom's services. You could not have been more helpful. The day went perfectly and my mom would have been pleased. Bill, Don, Carrie - you are all so wonderful to work with. You make a great team. Catherine Alesich - What can I say....YOU are an amazing person. You care so much about helping others and your attention to detail was so appreciated. I don't know what I would have done without you there. Our experience with the Garden of Memories was unbelievable! All of the staff were exceptionally kind, thoughtful, and professional. My family is especially appreciative of Jordan and Catherine. They are amazing individuals. Patrick was also very helpful early on. They all made a difficult time in our lives much more bearable and memorable. Thank you ALL!
